Biography

I am a Partner at Grobstein Teeple LLP and have been with the Firm since its inception in 2013. I hold Certified Public Accountant licenses in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and California, and am a Certified Fraud Examiner.

My professional practice includes litigation consulting and forensic accounting matters; receiverships, business valuations, and providing business financial consulting. I currently serve as a Business Manager and have previously served several stints as an Interim CFO. I have been designated as an Expert Witness in California and the Commonwealth of Virginia and have testified to damages, marital cash flow and standard of living, and to other accounting issues. I am a proud Huskie, graduating from THE Northern Illinois University where I obtained both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Accountancy.

I am a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the National Association of Federal Equity Receivers, and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce. In September 2018, I was appointed to the Citizens Corps Council for the City of Alexandria and in 2019, I won a 40 Under 40 award in the City of Alexandria. I currently serve as Board Treasurer and on the Executive Committee for ACT for Alexandria. Lastly, I serve as the group leader for ProVisors DC-5.
